Academic Services Educational Services AESV Positions analyze existing programs and develop of new programs to engender academic success.  These programs can be developed on campus or include community involvement.  Positions collaborate with faculty across the curriculum, and coordinate curricular efforts, support educational instruction, assessment, and student development, coordinate and monitor learning activities involving standardized or simulated patients, and extend support for student success.
Academic Services Academic Advisor AADA Positions facilitate the university’s academic mission by providing essential services for students including academic advising, student advocacy, and degree audit.  Positions advise university/college students in course and major selection, requirements for selected area of concentration, student orientation programs and international student needs. Assists students in setting academic goals, course planning and career development. May work with individual students or groups.
Academic Services International Student Advisor AISA Positions support campus internationalization and provide programming, workshops, classes, and individual advising to advance global citizenship, cultural, and intercultural understanding. Knowledge of Federal immigration regulations, U.S. visa requirements and foreign government visa and travel requirements and advisories. Responsibilities include institutional compliance and filing of U.S. Federally mandated reports, maintenance of student data for university, system and Federal government as well as the maintenance of student records for international students and scholars as well as students going abroad. Positions process immigration casework and advise students on visa status, scholar enrollment and employment, I20 and acceptance letter issuances, SEVIS management, and student orientation.
Academic Services Admissions AADM Positions support processes associated with the recruitment and admission of new entering undergraduate first-year, transfer and graduate students including degree-seeking, non-degree seeking, domestic and international students in alignment with university enrollment goals. Positions have varying levels of focus on recruitment and admission counseling, application document intake and management, completed application file review and admission determination.
Academic Services Blended Services ABAS These positions reside in the individual colleges and perform a variety of academic services in conjunction with the specific academic services professionals at the University level.
Academic Services Registrar AREG Positions are responsible for student registration (e.g., military/VA registration or international registration) and maintain student registration records.   Responsible for class registration, assigning classroom space, and updating student records. Coordinates all aspects of curriculum management operations including: academic catalog maintenance and management, course schedule production, academic classroom scheduling, and coordination of faculty portal and instructor/advisor access to the student information system.Ensures that all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that diplomas are factually correct. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of academic records providing quality control assurance while maintaining compliance with Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) and federal enrollment reporting.
Academic Services Financial Aid AFNA Positions support the delivery and accountability for millions of dollars of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid funds to undergraduate and graduate students. Positions are also responsible for scholarships, grants, and student loans. Audits and reconcile financial aid accounts and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Academic Services Extended Studies AEXS Positions provide Extended Studies accredited programs, including on-campus courses, online programs, certificate programs and variety of professional development courses. Position advise students in these programs, and coordinates course listings with academic departments and faculty.
Academic Services Disability Services ADSV Positions facilitate services and support for students with disabilities. Positions analyze provided medical documentation to determine reasonable accommodations for students. Positions support advancing awareness and education within the campus community. Positions maintain confidentiality with student records, compliance with federal laws and OCR rulings. Services include but are not limited to: accommodations, alternative testing and books, and providing peer notes.
Academic Services Library Services ALIB Oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff and the community. Assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries.
Academic Services Laboratory Education ALAB Position provide support in educational laboratories and are responsible for setting up laboratory facilities in advance of classes and provide specialized assistance to students as part of their lab requirements for academic courses.
Business Services Business Administration BBSA Positions provide business or organizational administrative services that impact the whole campus or positions that can't be effectively placed in another functional area.
Business Services Retail Services BRET Positions provide support and leadership in bookstore and general merchandise presentation, sales, and marketing.
Business Services Early Childhood Educators BECE Positions provide a observation and practicum in a child care center.  Provide quality, professional care and education for children, ages 1-5.  Maintains a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. Holds conferences with parents to discuss child's growth and development.
Business Services Institutional Research BIR Positions are responsible for identification and analysis of patterns in institutional data, make critical observations of policy impact, and recommend strategies and actions; May select and adapt quantitative methods, practices and theories to perform forecasting and analysis, interpret results, and document findings.
Business Services Budget BBGT Positions are responsible for current budgetary operations. May also be responsible for long-range planning Designs and develops budgetary principles and guidelines to optimize the budget. Analyzes the variation between actual and estimated budget and produces reports for campus leaders in order for them to make sound decisions.
Business Services HR Payroll Faculty BHPF Positions provide a range of duties within a college or department that may include human resources activities including lecturer, faculty, and staff appointments and monitoring leave.  Submits payroll actions including additional pay for staff and faculty. May assist in faculty and staff recruitment activities and processing of offer letters.
Business Services Parking & Transportation BPRT For operations managed in-house, rather than outsourced: Responsible for campus parking and transportation functions. Must effectively manage daily operations and solve short-term problems while consistently planning for program modifications as a result of campus growth, construction and change.
Communication Marketing CMKT Positions develops and implements an organization's marketing policies and objectives. Oversees market research and designs marketing plans for specific products and services. Stays abreast of changes in the online marketing environment and adjusts plan accordingly to best serve the objectives of the organization. Edits the production of a variety of printed material or electronic media for marketing purposes. Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax. 
Communication Graphic & Web Design CGWD Positions contribute and produce multi-platform communications including broadcast, web, social media, and print. Oversees and coordinates graphic design, copywriting, production, and printing processes.Sets graphical and style standards for the institution’s and college's web sites. Works with other departments to design graphics and layout. Produces graphic material for use in web advertising and promoting online services and products. Coordinates with content providers, partners, and other outside vendors.
Communication Media Communications CMCM Positions prepare and develop social media; news media/relations; public relations; photography; videography; radio/television broadcasting content to support and enhance the organization's brand and operations. Monitors, posts to, and analyzes social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction. Assists in designing and coordinating company internal/external communications. Enhances the relations between company and employees, clients, government, community. Maintains communications policies and procedures, monitors company media and utilizes electronic publishing technology.
Development Business Development DBSD Positions develops and maintains client relationships. Identifies potential business partners and donors to negotiate agreements and significant financial commitments. These are the highest level fundraising positions with amounts around the 6/7 figure dollar amounts.  These positions set the course and direction of the projects and set the fundraising strategy. Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management. Ensures business growth strategies are met. Responsible for the activities associated with the economic well-being of the organization. Sustains and builds the strength of the community, business retention and expansion, new business development, marketing and advertising, training and assistance for businesses, and capital formation for businesses.  Negotiating complex gifts, working with multiple parties, internal and external.  Gifts with longer life span.  (Generally those at the Exec Dir, Director, Assoc/Asst Dir)
Development Fundraising DFND Positions  coordinate and direct fundraising strategies and is responsible for supporting major fundraising programs. Assists in the development of fundraising goals and soliciting funds. Identifies potential business partners and donors to negotiate agreements and mid-level financial commitments and manages the stewardship and donor retention but may not be able to move forward without higher level support.  Helps to identify new potential donors and organizes initiatives to solicit funding.  May direct and assist in developing major gift opportunities and writing grant proposals. Identifies and cultivates relationships with prospective major gift donors for a college with focus on mid-high level donors. Solicits prospect pool of alumni, friends, and family members to make gifts.  Most parties worked with are internal. (Generally Assoc/Asst Dir, Program Dir/Manager, Manager)
Development Donor Management DDNR Positions assist with development activities including gift processing, donor relations, annual or leadership giving, and donor cultivation. Motivates and identifies donors and prospects to make gifts of 3/5 figure amounts. Internal positions that support donor engagement and supports with a variety of donor appreciation activities, programs, and mailings. May assist with the preparation and submission of applications and proposals for the provider organization.  Identifies and cultivates relationships with prospective major and leadership and annual fund level gift donors for a college or university. May solicit prospect pool of alumni, friends, and family members to make gifts.
Engineering & Architecture Sustainability ESUS Positions use a variety of research methods to analyze and provide recommendations for corporate sustainability projects and programs. Stays abreast of trends in renewable resources, sustainable work processes, and environmental science in order to ensure proper sustainability benchmarks are established and maintained. Develops a coherent, campus‐wide sustainability program by coordinating academic, research, operations, and student sustainability activities. Fosters a culture of sustainability among students, faculty, and staff; identifies and prioritizes areas for institutional sustainability efforts; plans and develops long‐ and short‐range programs; and engages with institutional leaders to foster sustainability broadly across campus units. Coordinates with the academic community to integrate sustainability into the curriculum. 
Engineering & Architecture Energy Management EEMT Positions monitor energy conservation measures within organization facilities to ensure proper operation. Identifies additional energy savings opportunities, promotes general energy/water savings awareness and behavioral modification strategies to generate additional savings. Responsible for managing the institution’s complex utility infrastructure, managing the purchase and operation of energy resources, and providing specialized engineering and technical services for the institution, including oversight of utility infrastructure projects.
Engineering & Architecture Construction Project Management ECPM Positions manages planning and/or construction in a university setting. Responsible for the development, coordination, management, administration and planning of major projects. Manages capital projects, prepares budgets, and coordinates the design and construction of such projects.  Monitors personnel needs and schedules staff accordingly. Also responsible for preparing proposals, establishing completion dates and cost estimates, and evaluation results.  Communicates directly with contractors/designers concerning project cost, staffing and scheduling. Prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. 
External Relations Alumni Relations EALR Positions assist in engagement, outreach, cultivating and broadening alumni interest in and financial support of the university. Builds and maintains alumni mailing lists, oversees mailings and coordinates and plans alumni functions and activities. Develops, strengthens, and implements both campus and regional alumni programs; plans and implements major homecoming and reunion events. Develops alumni interest and support of the university/college. 
External Relations Arts Management ETRP Positions plan, implement and oversee all performing art activities in a theater and galleries. Develops and maintains the theater schedule. Researches prospective performers, negotiates contracts, coordinates and secures arrangements for artists. Director level positions prepare short and long-term plans and department’s annual budget.  Oversees the operations of theater and gallaries, maintenance, technical operation, and box office operation. 
External Relations Community Outreach ECMO Positions oversee and direct the campus and college community relations programs by developing strategies and processes, negotiating community engagement partnerships, and overseeing all external relations and special events in order to promote the university and/or college, and the faculty, staff and student accomplishments. Initiates and manages external internships with community members and organizations for student internships.
Facilities Facilities Management FFCM Positions assist in the day-to-day operations of facilities management. Facility management may include building oversight of administrative and academic buildings, community recreation, athletic training facilities, aquatics, etc. Handles routine requests with building vendors/contractors including janitorial, electrical, and property management (i.e. building temperature, lighting, equipment failures). Responds to facility complaints referring unusual situations to facilities manager. Issues security/access cards. Responsible for safety rules including fire alarms and emergencies and other building rules such as smoking policy.
Facilities Horticulture Management FHMT Positions cultivate, grow, schedule coordinate horticulture projects and personnel.
Finance and Accounting Unit Accounting FUNA Positions manage the daily activities of an college or campus unit. Responsible for planning and directing budgets, goals, and business objectives. Develops and evaluates operating policies and procedures. Develops budgetary controls and prepares financial reports. Establishes priorities for major purchases.
Finance and Accounting Bursar FBUR Positions oversee tuition and fees, bill payment, and tax credits. For students, responsible for the assessment of student tuition, financial aid disbursement, and billing. For faculty and staff, responsible for accounts receivable, petty cash, and payments. Ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and standard accounting procedures.
Finance and Accounting Financial Accounting FFNA Performs professional accounting work in a university's central accounting office. Thoroughly understands institutional, state, and federal policies, procedures, and restrictions. Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in executing, analyzing, verifying, and reporting transactions of a fiscal nature. Advises management regarding the effective use of resources and methods to maximize earnings. Monitors records of past and present operations. May serve as a project leader on special projects.
Finance and Accounting Sponsored Accounting FSPA Positions reside in the university's central accounting office and are responsible for post-award activities that include establishment of accounts in the financial accounting system, re-budgeting of funds, and making of changes to the award or expenditures.  Thoroughly understands institutional, state, and federal policies, procedures, sponsor regulations and restrictions. Consult with Grantor on financial requirements and reporting needs.
Health Care Counseling/Staff Clinician HCOU Positions do not have an Doctoral degree. Positions oversee the provision of brief counseling/ therapy services for students with troubles ranging from development issues to problems with family and friends to serious psychological concerns. Evaluates students for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Designs and develops programs to assist students utilizing various methods including surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, and other feedback mechanisms to assist in identifying issues and driving improvements.  Master's degree and Lic Psychologist, LPC or LCSW
Health Care Clinical Operations HCLO Positions vary from overseeing health clinic operations and staffing needs.  Establish clinical operation standards that comply with state and federal requirements.  Positions may also include support related duties. Advanced degree.
Health Care Nurse Practitioner HNPR Positions provide primary health care and nursing services in a student health center or healthcare center. Nurse Practitioner disciplines used at UCCS may include Family nurse practitioners (FNP), Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPS).  Others may be utilized, however these are the primary NPs. Independently assess, diagnos, and treat illnesses and manages chronic health problems. Demonstrates evaluation and observation skills in the development and modification of treatment. Evaluates concepts, procedures, and program effectiveness. NPs require a MSN, certification and licensure.  Some have Prescriptive authority.
Health Care Dietitian HDIT Dietitians are registered to treat clinical conditions that include consulting on proper nutritional and dietary standards, designing diets for populations of patients, students, or other client groups; may analyze food content, develop specialized diets, ensure food safety, and related tasks. Designs and implements therapeutic nutritional care plans utilizing general dietetic standards and regulations.  Bachelor's and Registration. In 2024 Master's degree will be required.
Health Care Health & Wellness HHAW Positions plan, organize and direct health education and wellness programs to meet organization goals and employee needs. Identifies health education and wellness goals; plans, implements and evaluates programming to meet these needs. Develops, facilitates and evaluates educational programs and materials pertaining to wellness, organizational development and ergonomics. Develops and implements the Wellness Program marketing plan. Provides lifestyle change education, counseling and support. Organizes special events to promote safety and wellness awareness. Bachelor's degree.
Health Care Registered Nurse HRGN Positions provide out-patient general medical/surgical nursing care to students and personnel. Interviews and evaluates patients, makes judgments regarding patient assessment, provides for comprehensive patient education when treating patients, and participates in outreach programs. Health Care Physician HPHY Positions are responsible for the medical care of patients. Direct hospital inpatient care is not required but close coordination of care with hospital based providers is essential. Health Care Psychologist HPSY Psychologists are licensed to provide psychological counseling and treatment of emotional, behavioral and psychological disorders, including conducting initial evaluations utilizing interview, psychological assessment instruments and other available information; formulating care/treatment plans for psychological interventions; recommending referrals; and maintaining appropriate documentation of services.  Positions may also provide psycho-educational workshops, crisis intervention, emergency counseling, and outreach and consultation with students, parents, faculty, and staff regarding counseling-related issues to the campus community.  These assignments may include supervision of psychologist trainees or interns. Positions have advanced degree and Licensure.
Health Care BS. Psychologist HPBS Positions assist Ph.D's in the administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests on site and in facilities. Secondary duties may include patient scheduling, billing and coding of procedures, and procurement of office and testing supplies. Bachelor's or Masters Degree.
Hospitality Food Service HFSA Positions works in and oversees operations managed in-house, rather than outsourced: Administers all institutional food/ dining services, whether directly managed and operated or catered.
Hospitality Events and Conference Services HEVC Positions are responsible for event planning including development, implementation and evaluation of programs and services. Solicits and coordinate vendors, musicians, nonprofits and outside event managers to produce special events. Develops contracts with facility users and service providers and monitors delivery of contracted services. Human Resources Employee Relations HEMR Positions are responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of employee relations programs and policies. Advises and assists staff and/or faculty regarding human resource policies and procedures, such as grievance and disciplinary action.  Develops training programs for staff and managers covering a variety of human resources functions
Human Resources Talent Acquisition HREC Positions recruits qualified applicants on college campuses for employment. Places advertisements, attends job fairs, interviews candidates, and performs other related duties. Interviews, tests, and refers candidates to the appropriate employment positions.  Positions evaluate positions for proper placement within specific job titles, determines pay, and performs associated analysis. Ensures that requests for pay adjustments comply with current compensation policy. 
Information Technology Help Desk/Desktop Support IHDS Positions provides support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity. Responds to telephone, email and on line requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems. Desktop and workstation support, PC hardware and software troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, remote maintenance tools, first and second level technical support, may include low-to-mid level network and application administration functions. Under general supervision, performs a variety of computer systems administration and support tasks, including analyzing, constructing, documenting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting of PC hardware, operating systems, software applications, peripherals, and communication devices for the entire organization. 
Information Technology HRIS_SIS ISIS Positions analyze, implement and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) or Student Information System (SIS). Works in conjunction with Information Technology to ensure that hardware/software solutions meet data management and end user needs. Makes recommendations and alterations to existing systems. Analyses and evaluates business processes and requirements, uncovers areas for improvement and makes appropriate recommendations, and develops and implements solutions. May be responsible for developing systems in-house or working with external vendors.  Analyze, extract, and develop reports of system data as necessary.
Information Technology Network Administration INWA Positions utiliize and oversee Network Monitoring and Tuning Tools, Firewall management, wireless technologies, and Network Access Management. May include VOIP technologies. Installs, maintains, and monitors the operation of the organization's local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN). Participates in strategic planning efforts, capacity planning, functional and technical design of enterprise systems, and resolution of complex problems. Evaluates vendor products in hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment and recommends purchases consistent with the organization's short and long term objectives. Recommends and implements LAN policies and standards and ensures adherence to security procedures. Performs troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs/fixes for network hardware and software related problems. Responsible for network connectivity, setup, and maintenance, and for remote VPN connections, network security (firewall protection), as well as WI-FI connectivity.
Information Technology Telecom/Network ITNT Positions are responsible for the operation of the telecommunications/ voice systems to ensure maximum productivity and availability of systems. Interfaces with users on problem determination and resolution of network/system problems. Ensures the performance of all telecommunications/voice equipment. Responsible for equipment installation, trouble shooting and hardware testing. Maintains internal systems to assure that network components are operational. Typically requires technical training in a related field and more than 3 years of telecommunications/voice systems.
Information Technology Security ISEC Completes tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets. Protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction and develops IT security policies and standards. Works with end users to determine needs of individual departments. Implements policies or procedures and tracks compliance throughout the organization. Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Researches, recommends, and implements changes to procedures and systems to enhance data systems security.
Information Technology Software Application Developer ISAD Develops and modifies an organization's applications systems by encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Ensures that programs can be integrated in the applications systems. Assists with solving problems with existing applications systems. Specific skills and tools used for Software Engineers: Javascript, C#, visual basic, and .Net. Develops software, choosing between alternative approaches with some originality and moderate technical risk. Prepares detailed plans, generally spanning several months. Designs and implements test procedures. Interacts on a regular basis with other functional groups and customers on technical and/or administrative matters. Participates in the formation of projects goals, scope and schedule.
Information Technology Business Analysis IBSA Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports that are delivered to developers and then follow-up on all results. Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.
Information Technology Media IMED Provides technical leadership and coordination for creation and production of media projects. Coordinates and participates in production of complex media projects. Continuously improves systems to streamline video and audio production to provide high quality, cost effective products. Troubleshoots and problem-solves current equipment and system failures. Integrates video and audio capability to the e-Commerce site. Maintains and operates video equipment, edits select footage, and stays up-to-date with all new technological advances.
Information Technology Web Development IWEB Designs web pages that support the organization's strategies, goals, and online presence utilizing established design standards. Designs and develops user interface features, flow, and navigation that reflect user preferences and enhance usability. Produces graphic designs, animation, and copy layouts for online content. Has knowledge of different browser platforms and web technologies and tools such as HTML, Shockwave, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, and JavaScript. Develops, modifies and debugs software applications, webpages and other customer facing websites using a variety of technologies. Responsible for website planning and design. Works on multiple projects and communicates with customers and management on project status.
Research Services Sponsored Research RSPR Positions are responsible for the coordination of pre-award activities relating to grant and contract proposals. Pre-award activities include assisting departmental faculty in the development, preparation, and submission of grant and contract proposals. Also ensures that all applications meet agency and university guidelines and published time tables and deadlines. Administers federal block grants in support of community development, community services and campus research projects. Develops comprehensive grants compliance monitoring and reporting systems for ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Research Services Program/Sponsored Research RPGR Positions carry out research/development activities. Makes detailed observations, analyzes data, and interprets results. Compiles results and prepares technical reports and documentation of outcomes. Collaborates with more senior researchers with respect to larger or more complex studies. Participates in research and development activities. Utilizes established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyze data. Writes technical reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations. 
Research Services Laboratory Research RLAB Positions coordinate the daily activities in a research laboratory and assists and supports the work of researchers. Conducts and oversees quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results. Ensures adherence to lab standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness. Coordinates the lab inventory management and maintains supplies, lab ware, and instruments.  Positions in this functional area focus on supporting research projects and while they may interact with students, their primary roll in NOT supporting students in  their academic endevours. 
Student Services Student Life SSLL Positions direct and oversee the development and organization of the university/college's extra-curricular programs including special events. Sets up comprehensive programs that delivers quality and diverse campus student activities, social events and has a participatory role in student government, and student run clubs. Approves funding for various student activities as appropriate. 
Student Services Student Housing HSDH Positions assist in all aspects of on-campus housing for students. Assigns residence hall managers or functions as a resident hall manager to each dormitory. Reviews and updates of all housing policies to ensure the safety of residents. May also help maintain an off-campus housing program

Contribute directly to the quality of learning for all who participate in university education both inside and outside the classroom. 
Student Services Career Center SCRC Positions assist and counsel students with their transitions to employment. Organizes workshops to develop the necessary skills associated with career development. Supports on-campus recruiting efforts and programs involving student and employee interactions. Develops student advising resources and facilitation guides. Conducts interviews or assessments to identify the student's strengths and interests and may suggest training or development opportunities to assist the student in meeting their career objectives.
Student Services Student Conduct and Student Support SSDC Positions support and respond to students in times of crisis and challenge, including personal emergencies, incidents involving campus safety and wellbeing, and potential violations of the student code of conduct. Positions assess students’ needs, develop action plans, and make appropriate referrals. Positions investigate student conduct violations, holds administrative hearings, and determine sanctions as necessary. They create and provide workshops for students, faculty and staff focusing on civility, student engagement, student wellbeing, and student success. They assist with programs and activities to promote student wellbeing and engagement. They educate faculty and staff about student/faculty rights, campus resources, classroom behavior management techniques, and informal/formal channels of conflict resolution. Consults with faculty/staff about individual student situations.  
Athletics Athletic Communication AACM Positions perform a range of communications and/or marketing duties to advance the Althletic Department which may include print, social media, web content, or multi-media. Creates and disseminates content for internal/external audiences through a variety of media.
Athletics Athletic Compliance AATC Maintains institutional control of the compliance system for a university/college's athletic program. Develops procedures and policies to monitor and ensure compliance with all NCAA and conference rules and regulations. Verifies student eligibility to participate in university athletics. Investigates and reviews alleged NCAA and conference rule violations and communicates findings to appropriate parties. Serves as a liaison between the athletic program and the NCAA. 
Athletics Athletic Trainer ATTR Athletic Trainers direct and administer athletic training programs for campus intercollegiate athletic sports.  Positions oversee the prevention and care of athletic related injuries and administrative functions related to budgets, procurement and inventory systems, and NCAA compliance. Positions may supervise, direct and/or manage assistants, interns and students.
Athletics Coaches   Coaches are responsible for the design and coaching of practices and competitions. A coach is also an expert who trains individuals and teams to improve skills.
Public Safety Environmental Health & Safety PEHS Positions coordinate comprehensive program of disposal of hazardous chemical waste materials or radiation safety. Conducts inspections of laboratories and facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures. Provides training concerning hazardous materials and chemicals to faculty, staff, and students. Provides for the collection, storage, transportation, and shipping of hazardous waste.
Public Safety Emergency Management PSEM Positions are responsible for the development, administration and maintenance for a college or university's business continuity program that supports the continuance of critical functions before, during, or after a distater. Reviews and evaluates risk assessment, business impact analysis plans and planning proposals, and materials. Design, direct and oversee campus-wide disaster exercises in accordance with the Federal Emergency Mangement Agency (FEMA) requirements. May serve as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies to coordinate continuity and restoration activities, emergency management plans, or services. 
Public Safety Lieutenant PSPL2543 Positions supervise a team of police sergeants and other law enforcement support staff. Responsible for officer assignments, patrol operations, and investigations. Prepares and reviews reports. Ensures all policies and procedures are followed. Coordinates in-service training, staff performance evaluation and development.  Acts as backup to the Chief of Police.
Public Safety Sergeant PSPS2549 Positions are responsible for supervising patrol officers and agents as assigned and maintaining the chain of command within the operations of the department. Responsible for developing training programs for department personnel, directing special units, preparing special reports or projects as assigned, receiving and reviewing reports from officers, and assigning personnel in accordance to specific needs. Prepares confidential correspondence and maintains classified files. 
Public Safety Dispatch PSDP2547 Positions are responsible for managing staff who respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency assistance and in dispatching law enforcement, fire fighting, or rescue units. Transmits and receives coded and conventional messages, differentiates between routine, priority, and emergency messages, and initiates or follows through on responses as required. May enter unit response and data into database.
Professional Services Professional Services 2580 Positions manage the administrative, operational, and/or financial affairs to an executive. This is a high-level professional position; not an administrative support position. Administers business affairs of a large division. Prepares operating and project budget drafts. 
Professional Services Executive Assistant 2581 Positions provide support and assistance to executives that ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the administrative function, research, and management roles. Responsible for schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others. Handles confidential information and communications. Full comprehension of company's operation and procedures.
