Experience Data Project
The Faculty Experience Data Project at UCCS is a strategic initiative to systematically collect and integrate comprehensive experience and qualification data from all faculty into the Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This effort is crucial to enhancing our compensation management practices. By centralizing and harmonizing this data, the project seeks to significantly enhance HR analytics capabilities, bolster strategic compensation planning, and identify any pay disparities. Ultimately, this initiative will foster a more transparent, equitable, and inclusive academic environment.
Why Your Participation Matters
Your participation in this initiative is invaluable. By providing your comprehensive professional experience, you contribute to a more accurate compensation practice at UCCS. This effort is a vital step towards ensuring that every faculty member is fairly recognized and compensated for their unique contributions. Together, we can build a more transparent, fair, and inclusive academic community. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to excellence at UCCS!
Role of Human Resources
The accuracy of the data collected for the Faculty Experience Data Project is paramount. To achieve this, we have established a collaborative data verification process led by HR. HR plays a vital role in ensuring the completeness, correctness, and consistency of the information submitted by faculty. As HR reviews your submission compared to your updated CV, they may reach out to you directly with clarifying questions or to update your submission with the necessary information for this review. HR will contact you if their review results in a lower value by 0.5 years or greater compared to what was entered on this form.
