Employment Verification

Effective July 1, 2022 Corporate Cost Control (CCC) is our third party vendor for employment verification. Please visit the Employee Services webpage for more information.

Employment verification is conducted through a company called Corporate Cost Control. Employees can use this website to create a record of their employment status and provide a requestor access to review it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Corporate Cost Control was not able to verify a previous employee, can I contact HR?


Yes, absolutely! There are a couple scenarios where previous employees will not be found by Corporate Cost Control (CCC):

  1. Employees who left the University 10 or more years ago

  2. Employees that were employed through a student position 

If Corporate Cost Control is not able to verify a previous employee, please email hrhelp@uccs.edu to obtain dates of employment or position information. Salary information will not be provided through email and must be requested by the employee. 

 

I am an external user (i.e. Mortgage Lender) needing to verify salary information of a current employee.


For salary information of a current employee, a request must be made through Corporate Cost Control (CCC)

If you are verifying an employee on an academic contract and need the months or amount of the contract broken down or clarified. Please have the employee contact Human Resources at hrhelp@uccs.edu. We will provide the employee with a verified letter explaining the contract details. 

 


Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Managing student debt? As a past or current CU employee, you may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness—a program that rewards college graduates who work in the public sector. CU is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit qualifying employer.  Please refer to Employee Services PSLF for more information.

Ready to Sign Up?

CU is only responsible for verifying employment. A signed form from CU does not mean your application has been approved, just that your employment has been verified. 

Here’s what we need from you:

  • Review the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Form instructions and download the form.
  • Email PSLF@cu.edu to request employment verification.
  • CU Employee Services will complete Sections 3 and 4 and return the form to you.
  • Submit the completed form to the address listed in Section 7.

For specific information regarding duties including forbearance request forms, verifiers should contact the department liaison in which the employee resides.
