UCCS Employment Verification
Employees applying for a loan, government program, housing or other services may need to provide verification of employment and salary through the University of Colorado. Please visit the CU Employee Services website for more information.
Employment verification is conducted through a company called Experian Verify. Employees can use this website to create a record of their employment status and provide requestor access to review it. Employee Verification FAQs
Yes, absolutely! There are a couple of scenarios where previous employees will not be found by Experian Verify:
Employees who left the University 10 or more years ago
Employees that were employed through a student position
If Experian Verify is not able to verify a previous employee, please email hrhelp@uccs.edu to obtain dates of employment or position information. Salary information will not be provided through email and must be requested by the employee.
For the salary information of a current employee, a request must be made through Experian Verify.
If you are verifying an employee on an academic contract and need the months or amount of the contract broken down or clarified. Please have the employee contact Human Resources at hrhelp@uccs.edu. We will provide the employee with a verified letter explaining the contract details.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Managing student debt?
As a past or current CU employee, you may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) - a program that rewards college graduates who work in the public sector. CU is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit qualifying employer.
